MCDONALD’S SNACK WRAP is officially coming back. After nearly a decade of rumors, teasers, and constant requests from fans, McDonald’s has confirmed the return of one of its most beloved menu items.
The wrap will return to restaurants nationwide starting July 10, 2025, bringing back a fast food favorite that many never stopped craving.
Originally discontinued in most locations in 2016 and pulled entirely by 2020, the snack-sized wrap built a loyal fanbase that never gave up hope. The announcement was made via Instagram, where McDonald’s posted:
“Also I got my boss to bring it back earlier for you. snack wrap is available 07.10.”
The post quickly went viral, racking up over 35,000 likes and reigniting excitement around the long-lost menu item.
What to Expect When It Returns
McDonald’s will bring back two versions of the wrap:
- A Spicy Wrap featuring the habanero pepper sauce used in the Spicy McCrispy
- A Ranch version with the classic creamy dressing
Both are built with crispy chicken, shredded lettuce, cheese, and a soft flour tortilla the original formula that made the wrap such a hit in the first place.
Why Now?
The announcement comes just one day after Popeyes revealed plans to introduce its own chicken wraps this summer. While McDonald’s hasn’t commented on the timing, some believe the move was strategic. Earlier this year, the chain also reintroduced its McCrispy Strips one of the core ingredients needed to recreate the wrap.
July 10: Set the Reminder
