Main Ingredients
- 1 ball Pizza Dough enough for a 12×18-inch rectangle
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil plus more for brushing
- 0.5 piece Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 0.5 piece Red Onion finely chopped
- 0.5 pound Chicken Sausage crumbled
- 22 slices Pepperoni preferably chicken or turkey-based
- 1.5 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 pinch Salt to taste
- 1 pinch Black Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon All-purpose Flour for dusting
To Serve
- 0.5 cup Marinara Sauce for dipping (optional)
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Dust a clean countertop with flour and roll the pizza dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped red onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Assembly
Evenly spread the crumbled chicken sausage, sautéed veggies, pepperoni slices, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning over the dough. Season with salt and pepper.
Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the edges and ends to seal.
Baking
Place the rolled dough seam-side down onto the baking sheet. Brush the top lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and firm to the touch.
Let the bread rest for 10 minutes before slicing to allow the cheese to settle.
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
