Lemon Balm Tea

  • 1 tablespoon Dried Lemon Balm Leaves or a small handful of fresh leaves
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • to taste Honey or Sweetener of Choice optional, for flavor

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a rolling boil. Let it rest for a few seconds before pouring if using fresh lemon balm to avoid bitterness.
  • Place dried or fresh lemon balm leaves into a teapot or directly into your favorite mug.
  • Pour hot water over the leaves. Cover the mug or teapot and let steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you like it.
  • Strain the leaves and discard. Add honey or sweetener if desired. Stir and enjoy warm or cold.
